doors at 10pm and maccas at 4am. it’s emo never sleeps fridays, bitch.

we reside at the iconic royal melbourne hotel next to southern cross station, which is a 250 year old heritage listed jail. with 4 rooms, 5 bars, the biggest outdoor courtyard in melbourne and real life jail cells - why go anywhere else?

every few weeks we take over RMH and show it what we’re made of. the floors get sticky, the walls get slapped and the roof starts shaking. we play the biggest emo anthems in main room until midnight - and then we get heavier. expect fire twirlers, lasers, cold sparks, DJs climbing on speakers, performers and whatever else the accountant let’s us get away with. we’re usually going til 4:30am.

walk into the 250 year old jail cells and you’re greeted with the best aussie punk and alternative tracks, going straight into nu-metal madness as the night goes on. our resident heavy metal DJs keep the cells pumping and bar stocked until 3am.

🕷️ upstairs: party room (and couches)

dress up or down, with friends or alone. we're fully accessible and accepting with trained security guards who specialise in alternative and queer events in melbourne. we throw a safe and fun party.
